AQUALIE INSTITUTE PROMOTES SECOND EDITION OF ENVIRONMENTAL MORNING AT THE CAMPUS OF UFJF
Due to the Ambeinte Half Day, celebrated worldwide on June 5th, the Aqualie Institute organizes, for the second time, the Environmental Morning. An event organized and conducted by researchers associated with the goal of strengthening ties with the general population and offering a moment of information sharing, reflection and fun.
The event will take place at the Juiz de Fora Campus of UFJF, on Sunday, June 10, from 9:00 am and extends until approximately 2:00 pm. Various activities will happen simultaneously for all audiences.
Parts of the UFJF's scientific collection and live animals, under IBAMA's tutelage, will be exhibited for the public to kill curiosities and know even more about our fauna. For children, Storytelling Workshop, Plaster Animal Workshop, Space for drawing and paintings. In addition, the event features a relaxing yoga class and destruction of seedlings, provided by the State Institute of Forests.
The event has the support of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, the Department of Zoology of the UFJF, the Graduate Program in Animal Biology and Behavior, the State Forestry Institute and IBAMA. We hereby record our deep gratitude and contentment with these partnerships.
